 Interesting Scent, Prevents Color FadingJan 29, 2012

I use this in combination with the ABBA Color Protect Conditioner. I selected this brand to try because I get highlights and didn't want to worry about my color fading. It does seem to be effective & gentle enough that it cleans and does not fade color but my hair does not feel very hydrated/conditioned after using the shampoo/conditioner set - I think this is alright and I will use the rest of the bottle but I wouldn't repurchase.
I'd recommend Brocato Vibracolor or Redken over this brand. Although, if you're looking for something that is specifically 100% Vegan, Synthetic Dye free and Sulfate free this is probably a good product for you.... it works well, just not my favorite.
Packaging:
-Pretty plain, white & red bottle, the 33.8oz is pretty large and kind of awkward to hold and pour in your hand, especially when it's full of product & wet; I would recommend a pump
-Cap is a push-snap top up and down
Price:
-A liter retails around $30, I was able however to get this on a great sale at Ulta for $14.99 (which is about the same price as the 8oz version of this product!)
Scent:
-Interesting scent for this line, I'd describe it as cherry-almond
-Typically I would prefer that my hair products smelled fresh & clean instead of like some kind of food, but this still smells good and the scent doesn't really linger after washing hair

The best vegan color care shampoo I've found. I have a lot of hair, and just a little bit of this shampoo creates enough lather to get the job done. My hair texture is slightly dry, but this leaves my hair soft. The fragrance is nice too. AND $25 for a 33.8 oz bottle is a great value!

I have been using this shampoo for about 10 years and I love it! Prior to finding it I tried tons of other salon brands and spent lots of money. My hair isn't particularly difficult, but everything else leaves it either too dry or too weighed down. This shampoo gives me just the right amount of moisturizing while protecting my hair color.
Every couple of years, I decide to try some NEW product just to see if there's anything better. I ALWAYS come back to ABBA. The conditioner is awesome, too!

I've used ABBA hair products for years. They worked well with my straight hair so, a few years ago at age 61 when my hair decided to become naturally curly (No idea why!!!) I was pleased to see they still work! I have also used their Curl Prep products with terrific results. Excellent products and AMAZON always gets my orders to me quickly.

I have a long hair & I've used many different products/shampoos. But this one I like better so far. From the first time of using Abba I noticed that it cleans my hair gently & feels great after. This shampoo smells good & very concentrated so it will long lasting. Can't tell about if it protects hair color but I definitely will use this shampoo for long time. Delivery was early than it was expected. Thanks. Very happy.
