Great for REALLY bad damageJan 15, 2011
By Amie M. Standal I have been using this product with the Biomega Intensive conditioner for about two weeks, and am really impressed with the improvement of the condition of my hair. It doesn't take much, so the bottle goes farther than you would expect. The only down side for the shampoo is that it does not have a rich lather. But considering I went from having to use everything from detanglers, to shine spray, and everything in between to the ease of just brushing my hair once when it's wet, and then going about my day... I really can't complain. My hair went from dull frizzy that was full of split ends and breakage to, beautiful, healthier, and shiny in about two weeks of use!

Never going back to regular hair productsFeb 03, 2012
By urlilcutie1704 About a year ago I was educated about the difference between regular shampoo/conditioner and their sulfur-less counterparts. Normal shampoos and conditioners contain sulfur in them which strips your hair of its natural oils. Most people feel that it makes your hair cleaner but it doesn't. Your hair actually starts to replenish the oils and when you use sulfur that strips away all the oils, your scalp over compensates. This leaves your hair feeling cleaner for a little while but makes it more oily in the long run (about 24 hours). If you use this shampoo and conditioner then your hair still gets clean, but doesn't strip your hair of its oils and so you don't have to wash as often. I wash my hair every other day, but some people I know go longer. (Everyone says its gross at first but it's not, you can shower without washing your hair every time). I now have long, full, healthy and shiny hair. I've been using this product line for over a year (Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave in Conditioner). I blow dry, and use a curler or straightener every time. I only have to get a cut every 2-3 months since my ends rarely split (but I also use Argan Oil which is another great product if you use a lot of heat). It's also a good price. I went through between 2 bottles of each shampoo and conditioner for the whole year. You don't need much conditioner at all. I have been using the Silk Shampoo and Intense Conditioner as of late but the moisturizing and volumizing are good too.
