This stuff is great! My hair was thinning to the point where it was very apparent. I tried all sorts of other volumizing products with not very much success. But with this stuff? I don't even have to blow my hair dry and it looks full and great! I highly recommend it!

After a few years of obsessive flat-ironing, frequent coloring, and weekly swimming; my hair began to drastically thin out. I used to have lovely, thick, dark hair that all of my friends and family envied, but over just the span of three years, it thinned out to about half of its normal expanse. I tried a lot of grocery store and salon-quality shampoo and conditioning systems to restore my former locks, but nothing seemed to work. After blowing through pretty much everything on the market with no satisfactory results, I decided to give up and just deal with my new hair. One night, my sister brought home the Matrix Amplify Color XL Shampoo from her salon to care for my colored-treated hair. As I was blow drying my hair after using the product, I noticed that it felt a lot fuller. I thought that maybe it was just the humidity of the summer and continued drying my hair. But as soon as I looked in the mirror when it was completely dry, my hair looked extremely different. Not only did the color look great (very shiny and multi-dimensional, but my hair was dramatically fuller. Less of my scalp was visible, and when I went to school the next day, I got lots of compliments on the shine and thickness of my hair. After reading the back of the bottle, I learned that not only was this shampoo designed to protect the color of your hair, but to expand it. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a little something more for their hair. Amazon sells this shampoo and conditioner at a great price. At my local salon, a 12 oz bottle of this shampoo and conditioner is $14.95 each. But Amazon is currently selling a 33.8 oz bottle of shampoo and a 33.8 oz bottle of conditioner together for just $28. Anyone worried about the authenticity of this product when ordering online should not worry. I have ordered this through Amazon before, and I guarantee that the product produces the same result as if you purchased it from the salon. My opinion is, don't think, just buy this product NOW!

I found this product the perfect solution for my thin, color treated hair. My salon stopped carrying it, and the local stores were charging over $18 per bottle for a fraction of the size.

Great Product, misleading photoFeb 24, 2012

I love this product, however the photo the seller uses is misleading. The product you're purchasing is only one bottle of the conditioner not the double pack that they have cleverly shown here. It's a great product and the price isn't bad for the one bottle. There is no reason to show a photo of a double pack. They should show a photo of what you'll really receive.

I have long, straight, fine hair that breaks easily and gets colored regularly. I really like this conditioner because it's safe on color treated hair. It's lightweight enough that I can use it on the days that I don't shampoo my hair and it makes it look clean but doesn't weigh it down. I also like to use it after I workout so that my hair has a nice refreshed look and scent to it but doesn't get dried out from washing too much. I wouldn't use it as a daily conditioner because my hair needs a more moisturizing conditioner because it breaks easily, but I would definitely recommend it for the purposes I just listed. It's also a great deal on Amazon, as usual.
