I recently reviewed this product. It would appear you do not post reviews in which are negative. The seller sent me an expired product.The seller offered me 50% of the price I paid back but I declined as it was not expensive. The product expired 10/2010.
As for the product itself it does make your hair appear thicker. If using to much, it will create a stickiness.

I bought this product from amazon, the shipper was almaz, I bought it for $24 approximately. It is a horrible product. It comes out of the dispenser like a foam then quickly transforms into a watery liquid. Very difficult to apply and dries out on the roots like a bad hairspray. My hair becomes so matted and brittle by the time the product dries out, that it breaks down once I comb it. It dries out my hair and I wouldnt recommend this to my enemy, the product is so bad. I am going back to my $4 garnier leave in conditioner which at least preserves my hair.
Very very disappointed.

I have been using Nioxin for a little over a month. I can not confirm that is has stopped hair loss, but my hair does feel thicker.
