I purchased this flat iron on yesterday. I was a little hesitate about purchasing a flat iron at this price, but in many cases the old saying is true "you get what you pay for". I went to my local JCP and it was on sale for $98.00 I could not beat that.I was leaning toward purchasing the CHI but one of the hairstyles at the salon suggested that I try the Paul Mitchell (in my mind I'm thinking she's trying to sale my most expensive flat iron, but she was right about the quality of the iron) I used it this morning and my hair has alot of body. I love this flat iron! I would recommend this product to anyone.

This is an awesome flat iron. I have relaxed hair and it glides through my hair with complete ease. There is a temperature control, so it's more than just an on/off switch unlike other flat irons. There's also no tug and pull of my hair, which I love. My hair doesn't have the "I just flat ironed my hair" (burnt) smell either. I love this iron much more than any Chi.

I love this flat iron. I have tried cheaper versions, and they do not compare
to this one. It saves me so much time and produces shiny, straight hair.
I definitely recommend it.

I've had this for over a year and I love it. I've used a Chi for years and they always broke just as the warranty went out. The Paul Mitchell was a great buy. It keeps my hair straight for 2 days with out having to touch it up.

This is a great product for flat-ironing with temperature control. Temp control is important to avoid damaging the hair...since many of people need to iron frequently and working it at the highest temp every time is not healthy for the hair. The iron itself is easy to use, although it is showing some minor chipping on the surface after only a month of use, which is disappointing. There is also a slight gap in the iron...it doesn't meet perfectly, which forces the user to hold it far more firmly and pinch it tighter than should be necessary. Still, I am pleased and would recommend this product. It compares well to the Chi and the temp control gives it an edge in satisfaction.
