I tried this product because a friend let me try some and I fell in love with the fragrance. After ordering, I loved the shampoo because of the fragrance but it left my hair pretty dry. Also, the conditioner leaves your hair very dry and definitely not smooth enough to blow dry or straighten.

I purchased this yesterday on the recommendation of the lady who cut my teenage son's hair (dandruff). I thought it would be great for the 3 guys in the house, the smell is 'manly' and I knew that the tea tree oil would be invigorating. I used it on my medium length hair and was disappointed, it felt a little greasy, and didn't lather like I hoped it might. Not that a good shampoo necessarily has to lather, but it didn't saturate my hair, I needed to add more and more to cover my hair and scalp. Although, I did enjoy the scent and it indeed was invigorating, I won't recommend this to anyone. To be fair, I think this will still be great for my boys with short hair.

This is the best shampoo and conditioner for me. I always had problems with allergies from the perfumes in the basic shampoos and conditioners. My hairstylist told me about how peppermint oil can sooth itchiness and I thought "Mmmm, right just something else to sell me." I caved and bought it anyway. That was six months ago and I absolutely love it. I have no problems with itchiness or dryness and my hair feels and looks wonderful. Plus it smells great!

This is a great set and it smells great. The formula leaves your hair really soft, but not oily. I've had some problems with other shampoos where my scalp gets itchy, but I don't get it with this one. If you like it, try to buy it on amazon because I got the set (10 oz bottles) for $14, but at the stores, they sell them for like $15 apiece! So it's basically like getting one free. Sally Beauty Store has a "generic" kind in the lavender mint scent, but it smells a bit strong to me. Works the same though, and it's $6 a bottle there for a 16 oz size
