I am half black and have tight, corkscrew curls. Wired is by far the best product I've found for my hair. I can wear my hair natural and not have to worry in the least about the weather! I just put it on my hair while it's still wet, finger through it, and let it air-dry. It keeps my curls soft, shiny, and in place.

I love Rusk's Wired. I have long hair that is very straight in the front and curly in the back. The front of my hair has been a challenge my entire life. It hangs lifeless in my face if I don't pull it back, gel it, curl it, etc. Even after all my efforts it will lose any style I achieve by mid-day. Since I started to use Wired my hair has more memory of how it was dried without being stiff at all. It helps me style my hair with very little effort and keeps my hair oh-so-soft. The front will actually hold body and style until the next day. I've never found anything that could do this. I just love this stuff.

I never thought I was very good at styling my hair, but this stuff makes me look like a pro. It gives great shaping and body. It doesn't look stiff, greasy or weighed-down. It's a super-thick cream you can use before blowdrying or on dry hair. Similar to, but IMHO more effective than Aveda's defining whip.

I have been using Wired for several years and am convinced it is the best styling product for people with fine hair.
You apply it while your hair is still damp and then style it as usual. Wired will stay like you leave it or you can wait until your hair dries and then comb through it or use your hands to "break" the hold. Hair stays as it was styled and has the appearance being thickened, well-groomed but not artificial.
I can use it to "spike" my hair for casual use or break the hold and comb it normally for business use.
Perhaps the best thing about the product is that it is never sticky or oily. I live in a humid climate and must constantly wipe my forehead, the other products will leave my hands feeling greasy or sticky. But not wired, it feels like a light waxy coating on my hands. It smells good too and it is suitable for use between to both my wife and myself.
This product is some cool beans.

I bought this looking for a styling product that would protect my hair from heat styling. I've now realized that no where on the description does it mention that it does this. I purchased it after reading all the great reviews about how it performs well on wet or dry hair.
Well, it didn't do anything impressive for me when I applied it wet and air-dried my air, but when I blow-dried it with the diffuser the results were beautiful! My hair was big and voluminous with soft touchable waves. Not frizzy like it looks when I use other products.
I guess I will continue using Nexxus Heat Protexx, but I will layer Rusk Wired over it when I blow dry my hair. I'm hooked!
